My practice is founded in radical kindness, nonjudgmental support, and a healthy use of humor for pregnant people and their family.
Drawing from my background in nutrition and in hospitality, I strive to support pregnant people and new parents with a warm familiarity and empower them to make thoroughly informed decisions on their journey through childbirth and the postpartum time.
As a doula, I provide continuous support for mothers before, during, and after childbirth. Birth doulas help mothers achieve the most healthy and satisfying birth experience. Postpartum, I help guide new mothers and growing families through the first weeks with a newborn.
Past clients of mine have generously provided kind words in support of my doula work. If you would like formal references, please feel free to request to be connected.
I work with families of all shapes, styles, and sizes. I often work with LGBTQ families, first babies and even fifth babies. I like support people and partners to be as involved in our work as possible. Think of me as your doula, too!
Promoting your intuition is my priority. As the birthing person and new parent, your body knows exactly what it needs. I support all choices in childbirth. Whether you desire a low-intervention homebirth or the options available in a standard hospital, you will have positive experience free of judgement or expectations.
My education background is in dietetics. I believe good and nourishing food to mother and family is key to feeling the best during these crucial periods. As your doula, I will guide you to healthy and yummy meals during pregnancy and postpartum.
From the start of our relationship, I am available to you and your partner for all questions and concerns, no matter the size. There is plenty of information out there but not all of it is great. As your doula, my role is to help you filter through the depths of internet to find the right resources for you.
